One of the best friends I have ever had is Ramona (Atkins) Pace.
One day, we were standing at her locker and I told her she reminded me of Jimmy Durante.
She then told me that I looked like Sammy Davis, Jr.
At that point, I put my finger on my nose and flattened it.
From that point on, I called Ramona, "James," or Jimmy."
Ramona referred to me as, "Sam," or, "Sammy."
This ritual has lasted to this day!
