Hoping to see you all at our 45th Class Reunion!
What fun it is to hear from old friends, and even better when they call to say that party plans are in the making. June 21 and 22 are the dates set for our next reunion by our more organized organizers. Although all the details will be nailed in the weeks ahead, having the weekend identified now will help us all plan for some summer fun as we recount how good the past 45 years have been to us (even thought for some, it might feel more like "tough love").
As your fellow Vikings work out details for a Friday night mixer and a Saturday luncheon and dance, there are several things you can do now, no matter where you are:
* Email addresses on Nancy's webmaster's page spell out who you can write to with suggestions, questions and offers of your time.
* Missing persons link might prompt you to reach out to parents, siblings or friends of those we've lost touch with in an all-out effort to track them down.
* 25th, 30th, and 35th reunion photos will surely inspire you to plan to take part ... and brush up on names and faces because thankfully our 1979 yearbook doesn't do any of us justice anymore.
It will be terrific seeing any of you who can make it to Vicksburg in June. And it is always special to relive memories of those who can't make it. Meanwhile, if you want to make sure the reunion is all you hope it will be, ask how you can help pull it together. KB
