
Vanessa Sanders-Moore
Vanessa Kate Sanders Moore died Saturday, June 5, 2004, at University of Maryland Medical Center. She was 43. A native of Vicksburg, Mrs. Moore was a graduate of Warren Central High School. She received a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Jackson State University. Mrs. Moore had lived in Forestville, Md., for the past 16 years. She was a computer specialist for the United States Agricultural Department in Washington, D.C., and IBM in Bethesda, Md. She was a member of Arbutus Church of Christ. Scott. Survivors include her husband, Anthony J. Moore Sr. of Forestville; a daughter, Katina N. Moore of Forestville; a son, Anthony J. Moore Jr. of Forestville; a stepson, Jobry A. Newson of Byhalia, Miss.; her parents, Willie Sr. and Rosa L. Sanders of Vicksburg; a sister, Helen G. Sanders Heard of Vicksburg; a brother, Willie Sanders Jr. of Vicksburg; nieces and nephews; and other relatives, including James Scott Jr., Clarence D. Scott, Edna D. Williams, Elliot Scott and the Neal, Demby and J. Williams fa milies, all of Vicksburg. Rodgers Funeral Home in Coldwater, Miss., has charge of arrangements.
