Gary Franklin Wright passed away on Friday, February 17, 2023. He was 61 years old.

Wright was born in Mission, TX, on April 22, 1961. He loved to travel, read, and watch sports on tv. He loved his kids at the High School.

He is preceded in death by his father, Elbert Wright; brother-in-law, Todd Scallions; and sister-in-law, Melinda Hinson.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela Scallions Wright; mother Johnnie Mayatt Howle; daughters, Tiffany Scallions and Megan Grantham; brothers Lum Wright (Mary), Keith Wright (Jane), Tim Wright (Sheri); grandchildren Izzy Kay Scallions, Farrah Scallions, Branson Scallions, and Destin Scallions.

Pallbearers will be Bert Wright, Tony Wright, Kenny Hinson, Jimmy Burch, Phillip Grantham and Lewis Emery. Honorary Pallbearers will be Lum Wright, Keith Wright, Tim Wright and Keisha Damper.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at Glenwood Funeral Home with Rev.Robert Andrews officiating the service. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the hour of the service. Burial will follow at Yokena Cemetery.
